Now That You've Purchased Robot Vacuum And Mop ... Now What?

Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Find models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean stairs.

Many of the top models work with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or rug.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an effective solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good with a pair of spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. But, you'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that.  robot vacuums reviews  is simple to connect it to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area rug, but it was unable to pick up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of and is a great feature.
